

Narizza Saladino (she/her) is from the Big Island of Hawai'i and is currently based in New York City. She is a recent graduate of Columbia University's Class of 2021 where she double majored in Sociocultural Anthropology and Ethnicity & Race Studies. She received Departmental Honors for her thesis titled "Walking Histories of the Filipino/a/x Diaspora". She intends to focus on a career that intersects research, strategy, and inclusive marketing.
After interning on the social media team for the online BIPOC literary magazine, Marías at Sampaguitas, she has also interned for Start Small Think Big's Marketing Access Program. There, she interacted with 500+ small business entrepreneurs primarily in New York and California helping connect them to professional guidance and corporate sales opportunities. Now, she volunteers as the Director of Media Communications for NaFFAA-NY, a non-profit community organization serving NYC-based Filipino initiatives.
Narizza has been actively involved with both the first-generation, low-income student community and the Filipino collegiate community throughout her time in college. She is a Cohort 12 Scholar and Career Fellow for the Leadership Enterprise of a Diverse America and has worked for them as a College Guidance Intern. She served as the District III National Director for the Filipino Intercollegiate Networking Dialogue, Inc. and has previously held positions as the FIND, Inc. District III Secretary and National Director Proxy. At Columbia, she served on the board of the sole Filipino/a/x club on campus as Liga Filipina's President in 2019 and Treasurer in 2018.
In her free time, she enjoys indulging in the newest films and shows, practicing her photography and videography skills, exploring new dessert spots, organizing her bullet journal, and discovering new music on Spotify.
